Role:
Intelletec is partnered with a membership-driven wholesale retail chain looking to expand its Business Analytics function. The Acquisition Analytics and Business Insights Manager will support the Membership pillar of the Enterprise Analytics Team.
This is a hybrid role based in Westborough, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytic support to drive data-driven decision-making and strategy across the membership acquisition space
- Be a thought partner in the creation of testing plans for both digital and non-digital channels, as well as providing “next level” insights related to the measurement of tests
- Mine data to identify opportunities to acquire the highest value members more effectively
- Be relentless in the pursuit of value-add insights through the utilization of an “answer first” approach to analytics
- Communicate results of the analysis in a thoughtful, concise manner via “high impact” emails and presentations
- Champion the incorporation of loyalty economics in our decision-making and analytics
- Partner with BJ’s Loyalty team to create strategies to grow our higher-tier membership programs inclusive of our Cobrand program
- Support Field Membership by providing membership insights to drive decisions
- Provide ad-hoc membership insight support to other groups, inclusive of the C-suite
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of analytics experience, preferably in retail marketing, business insights, or consulting roles
- Strong financial and analytical acumen to make strategic recommendations
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of data and audience segmentation/solutions related to digital marketing
- Ability to think critically and persuade business decisions with the use of data and analytics
- Advanced understanding of the application of ML/statistics/financial modeling in marketing analytics
- Strong communication skills resulting in the ability to translate complex analyses to non-technical audiences
- Working knowledge of visual analytics platforms such as Tableau preferred
- Expertise with at least one data/analytics programming language (e.g. SQL/SAS/R/Python)
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Marketing or related field; Graduate/MBA degree preferred
