My client has created a next-generation manufacturing digitization platform, powered by AI for planning operations. Due to their continued growth and funding (Series A), they are looking to bring on a Business Development Lead.

As BD Lead you will:

  • Report into the VP of Business Development
  • Work directly with the VP of Business Development to create and execute against growth strategies
  • Sales pipeline development through targeted outreach
  • Inbound lead cultivation
  • Sales advisor network development
  • Partnerships development
  • Marketing materials
  • Proactively generate leads and source contacts, communicate and qualify potential clients
  • Respond to and qualify incoming prospects
  • Brainstorm creatively and try new growth strategies
  • Support key strategic growth projects such as new market analysis, partnership economic modelling, and pricing analysis
  • Play an active role in the creation and iteration of team processes


  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, consulting or other relevant client-facing roles
  • Curiosity and interest in dissecting manufacturing processes and economics
  • A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software and technologies
  • Experience interfacing directly with clients independently
  • Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking, listening and calling
  • Independent worker comfortable performing in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Organizational ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


Basic salaries up to $150K


  • Remote based across the East Coast, prefrably NYC
