Intelletec is partnering with one of our SaaS clients to find a Design Lead to join their team!  We're looking for someone to be the founding conversational designer!

You will be the first conversational designer, leading design for the user experience of the core product. You will be responsible for end user experience from start to finish, influencing how thousands of customers per day are interacting with the product. This role is a good fit for someone who is excited about being a thought leader, creating best practices and design conventions in a space where few exist (modern voice + conversational design)


  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience designing conversational applications, ideally voice and/or multi-modal applications
  • Creative thinker with a desire to get in at the ground floor of a start up, setting the foundation of design for a cutting edge product
  • Experience partnering with other designers, product managers, and engineers throughout a project lifecycle

What You’ll Do

  • Ideate ways to improve our user experience and work directly with the product and tech teams to implement your ideas
  • Lead development of virtual agent personas and collaborate with engineering and product to translate personas into our no-code product
  • Develop sample dialogs, flow diagrams, and prototypes to effectively communicate voice interactions and design ideas
  • Identify new conversational actions and use cases in order to evolve the Slang product
  • Evaluate usability and audio consistency of existing conversations and recommend design changes
  • Develop and evangelize design best practices, company wide
