Intelletec has partnered with a Leading Healthcare company, they are looking to transform health care through innovations that make quality care more accessible, easier to use, less expensive, and patient-focused. 

 

They are looking for a Director of Patient Safety Analytics, to join the Retail Pharmacy Analytics team. You’ll use your technical and product management expertise to drive AI innovation. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of AI/ML and effective leadership to inspire the team, align cross-functional stakeholders, engage senior leadership, and deliver business results.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

• Lead initiatives to improve patient safety and reduce prescription errors using AI/ ML techniques

• Oversee the development of analytics solutions that deploy advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence methods for a wide range of patient safety analytics, such as

o Prescription Verification: build machine learning models that can validate the correctness of a script in real-time by leveraging prescription attributes, patient profiles, diagnosis codes, and other pharmacy information

o Clinical Decision Support Engine: develop machine learning models to prioritize clinical alerts shown to pharmacists in real-time, based on clinical/operational relevance and impact, to prioritize high-value alerts and suppress low-value prompts. 

• Leverage technology depth to engage with key leaders across the enterprise to identify new applications of artificial intelligence in patient safety topics

• Conduct or coordinate appropriate testing of analytic solutions including, machine learning and artificial intelligence, to ensure results are consistent with business requirements

• Develop and present meaningful and insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations and go forward planning to guide a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and senior leadership

• Develop and mentor data scientists, contribute to their learning and training agenda, knowledge sharing, and provide input on technology stack

 

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience leading development of advanced machine learning solutions

• 8+ years’ experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development, including giving business requirements focused on data and analytics

• Strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and experience leading highly technical teams focused on deploying data and analytics solutions in healthcare

• Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders, execute level communication and influencing skills

• Excellent product management skills with the ability to lead and engage in multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.

• Highest level of attention to detail when working within legal and compliance regulations, primarily around HIPAA, patient safety work product, and attorney/client privilege while working with sensitive, confidential, and protected data.

• Deep experience with data modeling/analytics with SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or other advanced analytical tools
