My series D client is a data analytics platform on a mission to help developers become the new heroes of analytics. Their unique database, built from Apache Druid, enables them to develop the next generation of analytics applications.

The Role:

They are looking for an experienced Product leader who will be responsible for driving the vision and roadmap of the Product Platform. Their Platform is the fabric that ties together all the components of the product and is responsible for how their customers get access to everything. As the Product Manager of the Platform team, you will work with our highly regarded engineering team to define capabilities such as high availability, multi-cloud and multi-region deployments, disaster recovery, payments, authentication, authorization, encryption and much more. You will have full ownership of the success of a critical piece of the product collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success to ensure that they have everything they need to make the right decisions and build a successful product. 


  • Define and evolve the roadmap and own the success of the client's Platform
  • Meet regularly with customers and the community to understand their needs
  • Align the engineering, product, and executive teams on the product vision and roadmap
  • Build out messaging and positioning vis-a-vis the competition in the space, and driving product strategy to meet the messaging needs
  • Drive the launch of new products, capabilities, and features
  • Work across multiple teams to deliver large complex features
  • Become the face of your product area both for internal and external stakeholders


  • 5+ years of Product Management with SaaS infrastructure experience
  • Knowledge of SaaS security models, payment/ pricing models and cloud vendors
  • Experience working with Big Data systems and deep understanding challenges around scaling, high availability
  • Experience as a people manager of product managers
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for delivering a great user experience
  • Project management and excellent communication skills; ability to present at the CxO level
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to create and drive projects without supervision
  • Desire to work in a semi unstructured environment, the passion to deeply understand the problems to be solved, and the communication skills to articulate the pain points to be solved for the customer
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar; MBA is a plus
