Our client in the computer software space is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Director, Sales Operations (Sales Systems) that will work closely with their clients Sales, Leadership, and Finance teams to architect, build, and manage their sales infrastructure to help their organization scale and grow.  You will be responsible for anything that touches their instance of Salesforce, working across stakeholders to define, plan, and prioritize sales system projects, while leading the charge to continuously improve our systems and processes.  

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage sales processes as it pertains to our software stack.  Serve as the architect and project manager for all sales system projects.  Lead projects from start to finish while ensuring successful on-time completion 
  • Continually define, improve, and automate sales processes to optimize system operations, sales processes, and sales productivity.  Integrate/maintain 3rd party tools with Salesforce and ensure proper data flows into analytics tools and reporting.  Engage with stakeholders to identify gaps in system processes, collect requirements, propose and implement solutions
  • Collect requirements, project manage, develop, and execute a plan to implement a CPQ tool integrated with Salesforce.  Maintain and support CPQ throughout the deal cycle, product upgrades, and enhancements.  Work with Deal Desk and Sales Ops to train and enable the field on CPQ usage and best practices
  • Perform proactive system maintenance, manage ticketing system, respond to user requests/issues, manage security, users, roles, permissions, profiles, maintain backups of Salesforce data, upload data into Salesforce, and introduce administration best practices
  • Train, support, and create documentation/enablement around Salesforce processes on how the field should utilize Salesforce throughout our sales cycle (from lead to closed won and post sales)
  • Develop metrics, create & maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce to help with operational effectiveness, and provide visibility into our pipeline, order management progress, and ticketing processes
  • Create audit processes and proactively identify data discrepancies, and deficiencies.  Establish processes and implement tools to automate data cleansing

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant Sales Operations experience managing Salesforce and associated tech stack with a high growth B2B SaaS company.  Experience implementing Salesforce including custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and integration with other systems  
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification required (ADM301)
  • Expertise working in Salesforce, CPQ tools, and other sales systems.  Ability to leverage software, documentation, and training to streamline and create robust processes 
  • Analytical, possesses business acumen, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
  • Ability to independently manage ambiguity and work collaboratively to drive outcomes and meet deadlines.  Work with multiple priorities/deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment across a diverse group of stakeholders
