Director of Sales - Series A SaaS Fintech Startup - Fully Remote

Job description

My client is a Series A financial wellness benefit startup that makes it easy for companies to offer personalized financial advice about comp and benefits. They have raised $15M and due to continued growth are looking to hire a Director of Sales.

As a Director of Sales you will:

  • Be a foundational member of a quickly growing sales team, they expect to 3x the team size within a year
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategy, training, and process improvements for salespeople to achieve ambitious revenue goals
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of all sales team members and deliver reviews
  • Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with the sales team and leadership
  • Coach and develop direct reports all over the country
  • Participate directly in complex sales deals and late stage customer negotiations
  • Ensure the correct usage of CRM and other sales applications

Skills:

  • Have at least 7 years of total software sales experience selling to a range of customer sizes
  • Have at least 3 years of prior management experience; experience selling to HR/benefits teams is a plusHave a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.)
  • Involvement with hyper revenue growth, going from <$5M to $20M+ per year
  • Know how to navigate cross-functionally within an enterprise to map stakeholders, build champions, generate buy-in, and close deals with VP and C-Level decision makers
  • Have experience in the early high growth stages of a startup

Compensation:

  • OTE up to $350k plus great benefits and equity
