Join one of the most well-known USA Consumer Health Brands as they add a Distinguished Engineer to their growing consumer application team. This role will have extremely high impact across architecture of Mobile (Native Android & iOS) Applications, and you’ll also need strong knowledge of backend web systems and integrating backend development into Mobile Engineering Ecosystems using NodeJS.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ Years’ of Experience in Application Engineering across Mobile and Backend Applications, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-quality and reliable applications to large user bases. A knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift and NodeJS/ JavaScript are required; STEM/ Computer Science Degree is strongly preferred, or equivalent experience. Applicants can work remotely from the United States, with travel required 4x/year (1x per business quarter) for team collaboration and company cultural purposes.
Required Skills:
- 15+ Years’ Experience in Mobile DevelopmentDevelopment
- Expert Level with Java, Kotlin, Swift, NodeJS, JavaScript
- Senior-Level or above Native Mobile Application Engineer
- Strong experience with both Swift and Java or Kotlin
- Ability to drive new ideas, architecture /development styles, and technologies to team
- Innovative approach to development, strong leadership skills in leading development processes / sprints
- Knowledge of the SCRUM Process
- Startup Experience, and Demonstrated Ability to advance career at one company
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
- Proven record of delivering quality applications to the App Store for Consumers
- Proved delivery of working applications with a large user base
- Ability and experience to work remotely from the United States, with ability to travel to NYC Office Location 4x/ Year (1x Per Business Quarter)
