Intelletec has partnered with a cloud-based software that is revolutionizing the call center industry by empowering the admin, agent, and customer experience.

Based in Woodland Hills, the company provides a  multi-channel communication software to generate and convert more leads faster via calls, texting, and emails. Their conversational AI agent will pre-qualify leads using real human voice without the need of a live agent.

As the Director of Engineering you are all about recruiting, management, internal communication and delivery — getting the product out the door, while ensuring the team is hitting their mark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of departmental resources, staffing, and building a best-of-class engineering team
  • Deliver products with consistently high quality and reliability, in a timely and predictable manner
  • Drive rigorous product releases across multiple, complex software products
  • Engage with customers and the head of product to ensure that product delivery obsessively aligns with customer value creation
  • Design, develop, and maintain new features for various web applications from time to time
  • Tracking down, isolating, and fixing system bugs from time to time

What you'll need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in creating well-written web / SAAS applications
  • At least 7 years experience programming in PHP, C++, HTML, Javascript, or CSS
  • At least 5 years experience with Mysql or other relational databases
  • (Big +) Experience with at least one of the following PHP frameworks like: Symfony, Zend or Laravel
  • (Big +) Extensive experience with at least one of the following JS frameworks like: Angular, React, or Vue.js
  • Excellent at articulating, documenting and presenting ideas and work across the Engineering organization
  • Experience communicating between Product, Support, Sales, and Marketing

Business Skills:

  • An extremely strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the team and cross departments
  • Ability to prioritize business needs

Management Skills:

  • 5-7 years experience in hiring, managing, and growing a team of at least 15 engineers
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion
  • Ideally have built and/or managed an offshore team of engineers, but not required
