Client Summary:
Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking motivated individuals with outstanding academic and/or professional achievements to join their team as Technical Support Specialists for their Executive Committee. This role involves providing direct technical support and working closely with the firm's skilled Systems staff on a wide range of technology projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include on-site and off-site support for all technology-related needs of the Executive Committee. You will research, test, and evaluate new technology products, as well as handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Additionally, you will develop custom workflow applications and new monitoring and administration tools to automate maintenance tasks. There may also be opportunities for involvement in firmwide technology projects unrelated to the Executive Committee.
Required Skills:
•Candidates who have a passion for building technology and assisting others in utilizing it effectively. You should possess strong research and analytical skills to address unfamiliar problems and excel in challenging work.
•Applicants should have knowledge of the Microsoft Windows enterprise environment, standard applications (e.g., Microsoft Office), and a demonstrated interest in process improvement and technology. Familiarity with general systems administration, including hardware and software administration, as well as phone, desk-side, trade floor, and/or remote user support, is desired.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are critical for success.
