They are growing their government sales organization and are looking for Sales Executives who have successfully sold software solutions to the public sector; with a particular focus on the local government segment.
- Candidates should have a background selling SaaS & Cloud software solutions (preferably including hardware, software, and professional services) to SLED (State, Local Education) clients.
- Candidates should have experience hunting new government accounts & writing technical proposals, giving presentations, and closing sales!
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, and a capacity to think critically are requisite, as are the abilities to handle large workloads, balance priorities, and multi-task effectively
- Experience working with government VAR’s
- Expertise with government contracting processes and contract vehicles
- Gain an understanding of the buying team situation and goals
- Diagnose needs with good questioning practices and listening skills
- Drive value and buy in across large external buying teams
- Share outcomes, case studies, success stories and industry research
- Share insight with buying teams that help them through the buying process
- Manage a pipeline and numerous opportunities simultaneously
- Focus on the right opportunities through the use of prioritization skills
- Manage and deploy the right internal resources at the right time to drive
- Experience using Salesforce.com
