Job Description:

A Lead Android Engineer is needed for a growing Mobile Development Team. This organization is in the connected home space, and their flagship application is a digital photo frame to share moments and memories while far away. You’ll have the opportunity to build crucial consumer features on this application, and the long-term product roadmap will branch into connected home products across many verticals. 


The ideal candidate will have 6 - 10 Years’ Experience and a Computer Science Degree.  You’ll work with strong iOS And Android Engineers, and you’ll play an important role in the development of current and future products, including collaboration on feature development and working cross-functionally with a wide-scale technical team.  You’ll work remotely from the United States, 

Required Skills:

  • Senior - Lead Android Engineer, Preferably lead-level with 6 Years’ Experience

  • Development across consumer applications

  • Desire to work end to end on feature development from conception to release

  • Strong with Java and Kotlin

  • MVVM Architecture Experience 

  • RxJava or Coroutines for Reactive Programming

  • B2C Development Experience

  • Computer Science Degree, or related field of study 

  • MVVM Architecture experience and development experience 

  • Startup Experience; or experience working with a small team closely

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with a small and growing technology team

  • Ability to work remotely anywhere from the United States
