Intelletec has teamed up with one of the US's top Healthcare firms going through a massive transformation and are looking for an Analytics Leader to work at the intersection of Data Science & Strategic Consulting whilst owning products for a number of high visibility analytical initiatives.


  • The opportunity to join the leadership at the new NYC HQ, Massachusetts or other locations
  • Have actionable impact at the intersection of data science and business strategy with input across product & B2B initiatives
  • Join a huge business going through a $70 Billion-dollar merger yet with the opportunities akin to a hyper growth startup
  • Whilst you will be intereacting heavily in a key stakeholder facing capacity, this role will entail minimal travel of less than 5%
  • A full time position though potentially with the option of working from home some of the time


What you’ll do:

  • Consults with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems at an advanced level.
  • Acts as an analytics product owner translating data science business problems in layman terms and into actionable business insight
  • Ability to structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to help data scientists determine the best analytical solution.
  • Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions by knowing appropriate models to suggest to data scientists.
  • Understands and recommends modeling techniques to data scientists
  • Presents recommendations to senior staff and internal clients
  • Mentors team members
  • Shares insights across teams.
  • Reviews work of more junior team members. Autonomously leads the client relationship
  • Leads development of solutions with high complexity and risk.
  • Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an advanced understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics.
  • Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions.
  • Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrates superior communication skills, and ability to develop and participate in presentations and consultations to business stakeholders on analytics results and solutions
  • Supports deployment of insights across multiple channels, i.e., web, mobile app, email, social, call center, Apple watch
  • Motivates team members and probes into technical detail


What you need to succeed:

  • You are a go-getter!
  • 8+ years total business experience
  • Excellent communication skills. Can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • 5 years experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies
  • 3 years experience programming using R, Hadoop, or Python preferred
  • 4 years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with a track record of business impact.
  • 2+ years of people management experience preferred
  • Healthcare sector experience preferred
  • Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources
  • Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
  • Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.
