Job Description:

A NodeJS-Focused Backend Engineer is needed for a consumer application for productivity. This application primarily focuses on iPad users, and is in need of a NodeJS Engineer for backend related software development. You’ll work on an application used by 3M+ users, and growing. This application also has a 5 star rating, and excellent user experience, as it’s primarily a productivity tool.

You’ll need a minimum of 4+ Years’ Experience as a software engineer using Node.JS. You’ll also need a strong understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals, and a desire to work for a startup. This organization is based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, and plans to hire remote-first for candidates living in the United States.

Required Skills:

4+ Years’ Experience, Senior-Level Software Engineer
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and TypeScript or JavaScript
Expert Level with NodeJS
Backend heavy developer, or full stack engineer willing to work in a backend position
Understanding of backend systems and databases
Computer Science Degree
Consumer-Facing Application development experience
Senior or Lead-Level Software Engineer
Startup experience, or small team experience
Ability to work remotely anywhere from the United States

Desired Skills:

Advanced experience with TypeScript
