Principal Professional Services Engineer | Next-Gen Security | Remote (Texas Preferred)

My client is a well-funded global, rapidly expanding, next-gen cloud security vendor that has made a dramatic impact on the industry, in a short space of time. They protect organizations by eliminating insider threats and security breaches. They have raised <$30m. We are looking to bring someone on-board that can bring a wealth of experience and expertise, to an already impressive and successful pre/post sales team.

I am looking for someone already leading a small team, or who wants to step up and take authority of the post-sales practice. This is a huge opportunity.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Inside Sales Representatives and Sales Engineering team to carry out enterprise-grade implementations of recently sold products
  • Lead installation, configuration, integration and training engagements for current customers
  • Be an evangelist for the company's product suite; showcase to prospects, new business & be on-booth at events/conferences
  • Create professional documentation such as statements of work, change orders and systems documentation to include as-built design, requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Give your input to Product Management and Engineering on designs, product updates, and Operations and Maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Support sales campaigns with large, strategic opportunities as it relates to enterprise architectures, scalability and/or custom integrations
  • Work closely with the tech support team, to ensure customer satisfaction

What You'll Bring:

  • 6+ years' experience in enterprise security implementations 
  • Expert level knowledge of identity technologies, such as Active Directory, SSO, IAM, PAM, etc., and the relevant security markets
  • Strong understanding of security policy, compliance & audit
  • Knowledge of protocols like Kerberos, LDAP, HTTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, SSH
  • Outstanding customer relations & presentation skills - must be able to speak well in front of an audience and with customers
  • Advanced experience with security or networking solutions, especially the UEBA, SIEM, IAM or PAM domains
  • Security certifications, such as CISSP, are a plus - Project Management certs, too (PMP)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% domestically
