I am working with an enterprise SaaS company that sells a suite of intelligent optimization tools to factories. They have built the first AI-powered platform for planning operations. They deploy this AI to solve complex manufacturing problems and optimize the use of their clients' valuable production resources. They deliver near-term and recurring cost savings by helping advanced manufacturers manage supply and demand uncertainty and respond flexibly. They have a lot of client work lined up from manufacturing giants such as BASF, Stanley, Black & Decker, and Diebold Nixdorf.

 

They are looking for a curious, empathetic, and motivated product manager who can also do product design to join the team. The role will be part consultant, part researcher, part artist, and part project manager. As a product manager, you will coordinate engineering efforts and sync tech with sales and shape the direction of development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product direction, roadmap, and design

  • Prioritize engineering resources with engineering management to, quickly resolving UX questions from engineers to deliver beautiful, intuitive interfaces to customers on time

  • Lead the adoption of best practices in enterprise design, bringing patterns from workflow and collaboration tools like Slack, Notion, Figma, Linear, etc to users in manufacturing

  • Use Figma and other tools to deliver mockups and prototypes for complex, information-dense workflows

  • Lead the creation of the best possible experience for users, not just the minimum functionality required to complete a task

  • Refine the product design principles of the product, and create a design library to support those principles

  • Refine user flows, wireframes, mockups, and microinteractions for the product

  • Write product requirements documents (PRDs) for technical and user-facing features

  • Work with engineers on technical specifications and test plans to ship bug-free features

  • Interview customers to understand needs and validate the roadmap

  • Manage user research and user testing and customer-facing teams

  • Manage product training materials for customers with customer-facing teams

  • Manage prioritization of feature requests with customer-facing teams

  • Strategize with CEO and Sales stakeholders on how to drive growth with product

Requirements

  • 5+ years of PM experience

  • Computer Science and/or a Mathematics Degree

  • Previous experience in Product Design

  • Experience owning a product roadmap for an enterprise product and designing complex workflow features for enterprise customers

  • Experience owning complex features from ideation to launch

  • Experience owning processes to improve engineering delivery and user satisfaction

  • Experience maintaining a design library, enforcing UX consistency, and making decisions about introducing new UX patterns

  • Experience designing for accessibility standards

  • Experience owning user research and user testing processes

Compensation

  • $200,000 Base Salary
