Job Description

My client are a fast growing Technology platform based in London, Due to rapid expansion they are looking for a number of QA Engineers to grow their testing team from 10-30 this year alone

Your role

  • As a QA Engineer your role will help to support the development teams by performing testing in product development, software applications development, information systems, and operations systems.

  • You will help to apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximise the benefit of business investments in IT Initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the software development team by evaluating the software under test

  • Design and execute test cases

  • Perform exploratory tests to rapidly evaluate a product

  • Work with development team, Users, other QA’s, Head of QA and stakeholders

  • Drive/take part of discussions to establish the right strategy for testing

  • Communicate clearly about status, problems and ideas with other developers, managers, users and stakeholders


  • A minimum of 5 years testing experience Techniques for effective test design

  • Experience of Agile software development

  • Experience of TDD and pair programming

  • Understanding of Automated Testing, although this is a Manual Test Role 

  • Experience of structured exploratory testing (test charters,etc.)

  • Driven to understand how things work and how things may go wrong

  • A system thinker, develops an understanding of a product from a user or customer point of view

  • Always learning new skills and techniques in order to improve


  • Performance Testing, Security Testing, Jira/ Atlassian, experience in digital publishing, programming languages such as Java, Scala
