My client is a well-funded ($45m), rapidly growing Series B Cloud Security startup, based in the South Bay Area. Their multi-cloud security and micro-segmentation software supports business scalability, cybersecurity, and compliance goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing your territory to deliver above quota sales performance 
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a unified message and customer experience 
  • Collaborate with the Sales team as well as other key leaders to identify strategies to achieve sales goals and uncover new, high-value opportunities 
  • Help to hire, train, motivate and hold accountable the sales organization and support them in achieving their targets. 
  • Participate in marketing activity such as trade shows to provide sales support, generate leads, evaluate sales activities, strategies, and strengths of the competition, identify new market and customer opportunities
  • Extensive domestic travel is required

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise security software to large enterprises
  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in security
  • Prior experience working in a start-up environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both internally and externally 
  • Self-motivated, requiring little day to day management, but embraces strong reporting and sales rigor
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and trust with customers and to build influential relationships with partners in the business
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams using strong leadership, planning, execution, people management, and coaching skills
  • Should have experience closing $1M+ sales deals at Global 2000 companies

  • Experience leading early-stage sales at an enterprise Cyber-Security startup - Essential
  • Should have experience closing $1M+ sales deals at Global 2000 companies
  • US national scale sales management experience, and strong global sales management skills 
  • Experience in selling to and managing the C-suite of buyers, including CIO and CISO
