Sales Engineer | Award Winning Security Vendor

Our client: A market leading security vendor with a global presence is looking to grow their sales engineering team. With annual revenue of $135m+, multiple awards including the Deloitte Tech Fast 100 and Security Project of the Year and an awesome product, this is an excellent position for someone looking for that next step which can offer real career growth!


The sales engineer will assist the local sales rep with all things from a technical perspective with responsibilities including:

  • Fully understanding customers' requirements and how the solution integrates into the customers' environment

  • Engage in full project life-cycle activities including the design and implementation of the solution

  • Engage in product evaluations and present technical demonstrations

  • Work collaboratively in a team and at times, independently

  • Travel when required to customer sites


  • 4+ years' experience working in a customer facing role

  • Very strong communication skills; both written and oral

  • Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences

  • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and related services

  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Exchange Server

  • Extensive knowledge for Windows and UNIX file systems

  • Certifications are desirable eg MCSE, MCP

Compensation is split 80% base salary, 20% target bonus with total OTE up to £130k
