A Sales Engineer is wanted by our client, a fast growing Business Intelligence Series A startup based in the Washington DC Area.
The Company are pioneering the BI space following a large Series A round. Their Mission is to automate analytics using AI driven insights.
- The Sales Engineer will be responsible for delivering technical product demonstrations
- Work alongside the sales team and support the sales cycle
- Collaborate with the data science, engineering teams at clients
- Organise technical and functional specs for reporting and analytics
- Define project scope and plans, including project goals and deliverables
- Help map the market and understand competitors proposition, to better position this clients offering
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering/technical pre-sales, selling Business intelligence (BI) or predictive analytics solutions
- Experience with Big data technologies and some knowledge of machine learning – R/Python, SQL or Spark
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
Above market base salary, and great OTE up to $110K
