A leading global Adtech company who are leading the Search Intelligence market are looking for a Scala Engineer to join their team to work on their core product. The successful Scala Engineer will be working on a tailor-made technology that uses complex Machine Learning algorithms to allow concentrated targeting taking into account individual user behaviour.
The Scala Engineer will have:

At least 5 years in software development

Experience with Scala OR Java with strong desire to learn Scala

Willingness to learn functional languages

B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
Desirable for the Successful Scala Engineer:

Experience with Hadoop, Spark

Experience with streaming algorithms and practical analysis of real-time data streams.

Big data/scaling experience

Experience with Python
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.
