My client is a leading Mission-Driven FinTech company that uses Machine Learning to plug the gaps in the American insurance industry, through its powerful platform ecosystem. They were recently acquired in <3 years for more than $3bn. The 'gig-economy' aspect allows their independent agents to work in an Uber-style way, maximizing revenue 24/7/365.

This is a growing security team, you would be one of the first members and truly be able to have influence and autonomy.

The Team:

The InfoSec team is responsible for understanding the latest security threats, assessing their IT security risks using HIPAA, PCI and SOC-2 frameworks, monitoring & responding to real-time threats, and working collaboratively with software engineering teams to minimize risk to our customer data.

Description:

You will be hands-on solving security problems and also providing thought leadership and direction for the InfoSec program. You’ll be taking the lead on internal and external security audits, and be the primary person running vulnerability scans and analyzing the results. You will drive process improvement, policy definition, develop control infrastructure, and build new tools to keep our customer data secure and safe.
