We have partnered with a global leader who owns and operates subscription-based services focused largely on analytics. 

They are seeking a Senior Accountant, Statutory Reporting, you will be responsible for project managing the preparation and audit of statutory accounts to ensure timely compliance with local regulations across the global organization. The role will drive timely completion of local financial statement filings and provide quality control for our local statutory reporting. 


  • Work with local controllers, consultants and external audit teams to develop detailed project plans for statutory financial statement compliance, including establishment of project milestones, assignment of responsibilities, identification of deliverables and regular progress reporting to local and corporate management.

  • Assist local management in addressing technical aspects of financial statement preparation and in responding to audit questions of a technical accounting nature

  • Reviewing local statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures to ensure that they meet the required quality standards for local audit, including working with local stakeholders to understand the local statutory reporting requirements.

  • Managing audit requests to ensure that the audit process is efficient

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA are required

  • CPA and PM skills

  • Minimum 2-4 years accounting experience, Big 4 public accounting experience preferred

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple work streams contemporaneously

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial disclosure requirements and techniques

  • Extensive experience in the preparation and presentation of financial statements under guidelines established by IFRS and US GAAP, including a solid foundation of the financial statement close processes. Knowledge of other local GAAPs and/or statutory reporting is an added bonus.
