One of the clients we're recruiting for is looking to continue building out its engineering team by hiring a Senior Backend Engineer. Here are some more details:


Our client is a end-to-end advertising solution that leverages cryptography and machine learning to power modern media. Their advertising suite provides tools for advertisers that leverage’s their next-generation cryptography to prevent fraud and increase margins, and broadcast giants that leverage the platform to power their digital TV offerings. To give you an idea of what they’re working on, they deal with a huge scale of data (in the petabytes!) and currently undertaking millions of requests a second. They’re at the edge of technology, and their engineers push the limits of what’s actually possible with the best technologies.


  • Infrastructure responsible for their real-time bidding system by executing our advertising campaigns by responding to real-time auctions, and producing the canonical history of delivered ads
  • We deal with massive amounts of data - 200TB DAILY. To be able to use it, they need the ability to move it around, aggregate, maintain, and turn it into usable information that powers the platform
  • External & internal APIs enabling frictionless integration within our platform, ranging from custom reporting for ad-hoc analysis to platform APIs for programmatic activation of programmatic ad campaigns

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience. Ideally, building robust backend systems at scale
  • Must have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Golang ior similar (Java, C++, or Python is great)
  • Strong experience of taking on complex challenges and winning
  • Adaptive mindset, capable of change and iteration

Salary range: $170-250k base + equity [depending on experience]
