We're actively seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their expanding Engineering department. This role offers the chance to have a substantial impact on their customer and business-partner facing web platform. The selected candidate will get to design, augment, and broaden the company's primary data infrastructure, having a direct influence on the company's core capabilities.

Your Daily Duties Will Encompass:

  • Architecting and managing data pipelines to assure seamless data flow across platforms
  • Enhancing our user-facing data tool through the construction of a dependable and resilient data repository
  • Cooperating closely with key stakeholders, particularly within the engineering team, to guarantee accurate feature deployments
  • Overseeing and preserving the comprehensive infrastructure, with the goal of achieving near-perfect uptime and effective disaster recovery protocols, inclusive of version control and configuration management

Desirable Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering
  • Demonstrable expertise in the design, scaling, and optimization of data pipelines, data repositories, large-scale data processing/analytics platforms, and dashboards
  • Proficiency in Python and REST APIs
  • Proven experience with version control and CI/CD tools
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
