My client sells a cloud-based software that helps procurement professionals source more collaboratively and quickly and makes dramatic improvements in sourcing efficiency.

The software is used by clients across a wide range of markets including technology, retail, restaurants, manufacturing, hospitals, and Universities. Some of their key clients include Airbnb, KPMG, Jim Bean, Duke University, Salesforce, Levi's, Dish Network, Adobe, Smucker's, Twitter, Intuit, Clorox, Fitbit, Owens Corning and more!

They are backed by leading investors NEA (New Enterprise Associates), Menlo Ventures, and GV (Google Ventures).

They are hiring highly motivated account executives to join their team in the San Francisco office. This is a full-time, high-activity role that will require you to work directly with their SDR, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. They provide sales resources and executive mentorship to help you achieve monthly and quarterly goals, with opportunities for increased compensation.

What you bring to the position:

  • Be an energetic self-starter who is proactive in holding yourself accountable to a consistent sales process.

  • Know how to sell innovation and disruption, build trust, leverage multiple use cases, and compress your deal cycles.

  • Present a Named Account strategy/plan within first 60 days

  • Meet with C-level and LOB executives, and other key stakeholders

  • Close deals in net new accounts and also close upsells

  • Identify and close quick wins

  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets

  • Track all customer details including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps, and forecasting in our CRM

  • Utilize a solution and value selling approach

  • Evangelize Scout's full-stack sourcing platform

  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers

  • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources

  • Be passionate about communicating value to senior stakeholders and figuring out creative ways to create success

Required experience/skills:
  • A 4-year bachelor degree

  • 7 to 10 years of quota-carrying sales experience (7 years minimum)

  • At least 3 years selling to mid-size and enterprise companies, having achieved deal outcomes well into the six figures

  • Prior success in business process, cloud, or SaaS sales

  • Extensive experience building customer relationships and managing prospects through complex product evaluations

  • Proven successful track record of exceeding sales quotas

  • Success closing net new accounts and upsells

  • Ability to develop C-level relationships within large accounts

  • Ability to travel for deals

  • Passion for cloud and SaaS technologies, and able to thrive in a growing startup environment
