Senior Front End Engineer

Fintech, $60m Seed Round, $1.5B Valuation

We are partnered with one of the most exciting mission driven fintech companies of 2022 as they seek to grow their talented team of engineers and are looking for a Senior level Front End Engineer to work closely with the backend engineers and product teams teams to develop user-facing features and given the opportunity to work across the React web app and the React Native mobile app.

The company has raised over $60m in seed funding and was recently valued at $1.5B! The company's product/card offers the chance to build reward points (through travel, dining and simply paying rent on time) and use those points to travel, pay rent, workout, and even as a path to homeownership!

In this role you will:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Identify opportunities to refactor and make features more robust
  • Be responsible for writing unit and integration tests
  • Work together with the backend team to come up with requirements for an API

It's real simple!

  • 3+ years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node & Babel
  • Strong UX design skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of how to optimize the delivery of code and assets to a browser or device
  • Ability to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets
  • Flexibility - we are disrupting an industry so changes to traditional processes should be expected
  • Be willing to commute into the office 3+ days per week - super collaboration
