One of the clients we're recruiting for has raised a $103.1M Series D e-commerce startup and is looking to continue building out its engineering team by hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. Here are some more details:

Our client is an e-commerce service start-up that aims to improve how we care for our pets. They're based out of NYC and this is a Hybrid role.
Company Mission: Developed the fastest growing pet health service company in the US, and was born from a mission to change the landscape of pet health, providing dogs and their humans with honest, smart, and simple care
Role:
- Work with a talented engineering team to expand and improve our subscription-based, direct-to-consumer, e-commerce platform that delivers fresh food to pets across the country.
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested, peer-reviewed code to production in minutes using our automated CI/CD pipeline.
- Some of our projects include: automatic order allocation, carrier integrations, and fulfillment optimization
You’ll work on systems including:
- Build the next generation of our fulfillment pipeline to deliver at scale.
- Fully automate and optimize our systems to eliminate human error and missed delivery targets.
- Work closely with the Product to understand the “whys” and challenge solutions with possible alternatives.
- Suggest and implement processes and tools to level up how the team performs–be a driver, not a passenger.
Required Experience:
- 3-5+ years of professional experience working as a Software Engineer doing hands-on development.
- Led large software projects (6 months or longer) from design to deployment.
- problem-solvingThe ability to think critically and objectively; have excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make quick decisions based on business demands.
- Proficient experience working with JavaScript (ES6+), React/Redux, and Node
- Nice to have: Shown understanding of distributed systems, sync/asynchronous processing, and their respective trade-offs.
Salary range: $160-180k base + equity [depending on experience]
