Senior iOS Engineer / 190K

Job Description:

A Senior iOS Engineer is needed for a Series A Company around 10 People large, with an engineering team of 5. You’ll have a unique opportunity to join this company in its early stages.  The iOS Application is currently live on the app store, and has had an average of 200K Users/Month. In December alone, over 7M Chat Messages were sent on this application.  The purpose of this is to create a fun, unique and interesting space to connect, share media, and express yourself. 

The ideal candidate will have 4+ Years’ Experience in iOS Application Development concentrated on consumer applications, specifically. You’ll need fine detailing in frontend features; you don’t need to be a designer, but you’ll need to have a strong understanding of basic design principles. You’ll work on a mixture of new features and code maintenance and improvements. You’ll work with another iOS Engineer, 2 Android Engineers, a designer and a couple full stack developers.  Ideally, you’ll have a Computer Science Degree, or equal experience. You’ll be able to work remotely from the United States.

Required Skills:

• Senior iOS Engineer with 4+ Years’ Experience developing consumer / large-scale applications

• Works well with a small team

• Experience designing and developing new features with a UX Designer and a Full Stack web team

• Desire to work on a combination of new development and maintenance 

• Experience working at a company under 500 people / established startup

• Collaborative Engineer strong at working in a remote setting 

• Proven ability to send functional products to the app store

• Swift-First approach to iOS development

• Greenfield Engineering on new features from scratch

• Excited and willing to work on a product for the younger generation

• Computer Science Degree, or equivalent experience

• Can work remotely from the United States
