Sr Data Scientist

Intelletec is partnered with a leading biopharmaceutical company looking for a Sr. Data Scientist. The Sr. Data Scientist will work closely with internal stakeholders, focusing on the United States Oncology Network, to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify new opportunities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to identify new opportunities
  • Use SQL to gather and assess data from various sources
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models
  • Research potential opportunities based on stakeholder FY goals and customer pain points
  • Evaluate customer performance metrics to identify trends
  • Communicate and disseminate the results of information gathering using visualization tools

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis
  • 7+ years of experience in a consultative-like role
  • 5+ years of experience in data science analytics

Critical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of prescription and medical claims or willingness to learn
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of business intelligence applications (e.g., Tableau)
  • Advanced SQL skills (e.g. Snowflake, HANA, Microsoft SQL)
  • Intermediate understanding of data architecture
  • Advanced data engineering skills
  • Intermediate skills in automation and/or application development
  • Established skills in Excel and PPT
  • Advanced statistical knowledge and analysis skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Python (preferably) + additional languages (e.g. Java, C/C++)
  • Intermediate/Advanced data science skills
  • Industry experience using TensorFlow and Pytorch
  • Experience in core data science and predictive analytics methods


  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
  • MBA/Advanced degree a plus.
