Being a strategic account manager involves interacting with the major clients, engaging with decision makers, enhacing and identifying potential opportunities to increase revenue whist also adding more value. The responsibilities include:
- Creating strong relationships with C-level execs and decision makers
- Hitting sales targets thought assigned accounts
- Understanding clients business operations along with technical environment to deliver solutions
- Act as the bridge between the customer and internal teams
- Monitor sales performance, including producing reports and forecasts
- Identify potential customers within these accounts
- Proven experience in account sales
- Demonstratable success in SaaS or enterprise software sales
- Experience using a CRM - ideally Salesforce
- Negotiaiton and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of software integration
