Our Client seeks a talented and highly motivated individual to join its Systems group as a systems administrator manager for their New York office. Systems administrators provide support, automation, and management for a wide variety of enterprise technology, including a sophisticated Windows and Linux desktop/server environment, cutting-edge storage and clustered computing solutions, and a number of communications platforms. WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

You’ll be responsible for managing systems administrators in their New York office and will oversee their professional development, mentorship, and training. You will also work closely with other help desk managers globally to identify and implement enhancements to help desk processes and policies, measure and report on performance, collect and respond to feedback from the business, and manage a subset of help desk-related operational processes and communications. You’ll build relationships with other groups to ensure successful partnerships across the Systems department and the wider firm.

WHO THEY’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Candidates should have seven to fifteen years of relevant experience.
  • Well-developed leadership, communication, judgement, project management, and organizational skills are essential, as is a proven track record of both managing a team and building out processes and operations.
  • Applicants should be familiar with corporate IT infrastructure (i.e., the technology described above) and have a holistic understanding of how an IT support group operates.
  • Experience with end-user computing, automation, analytics and reporting, and customer outreach is required, as is familiarity with high-touch service.
  • Applicants who can successfully define goals and success measures, inspire team members, and establish meaningful collaboration channels with other engineering and operations groups are highly sought-after. the motivation to continuously look for ways to improve the team and function is necessary.

COMP PACKAGE:
  • Annual Base Salary : $150,000 to $250,000.
  • Their compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a relocation bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program
