UI/UX Designer + Illustrator

Our stealth mode client in the biotech space is looking to bring on a founding UI/UX Designer + Illustrator with strong background in graphic design and illustration to join their early team and own their rollout project. You’ll collaborate with a growing team of engineers, work directly with leadership, and deeply understand their target audience(s) to design beautiful, game-changing app experiences. Day to Day Responsibilities:

UI/UX
 

• Research trends of consumer health and wellness space, understand competitive products and expected user behavior

• Create UX specs that contain interactive prototypes, user journeys/stories, privacy and compliance limitations, etc. with the ability to convey concepts via wireframes, flows, storyboards, and mockups

• Plan iterative experiments, conduct A/B tests to discover the right UX

Design/Illustration

• Create beautiful images and/or illustrations as needed for product development

• Collaborate with engineers, product, and leadership to bring products to life

About you

• Expert ability to communicate design vision through text, speech, and imagery

• Passionate about the latest consumer UI/UX paradigms

• Extreme sense of ownership over products you work on

• 3+ years of product design experience for mobile and web applications that delight millions of users

• Highly proficient in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and industry-standard prototyping tools

• Portfolio demonstrating experience designing and shipping applications that delight millions of users
