About you:
 
As the VP Growth/Marketing you will help to build and scale a fully-integrated marketing department capable of positioning Elevate Labs as a premier cognitive learning and mindfulness mobile applications company. With a strong, data-driven understanding of our target market, you will create an exceptional a vision for the brand, marketing and growth teams and serve as the leader for all things marketing.

Responsibilities:

    • Motivate, mentor, and develop the existing marketing team by creating and implementing a long-term plan for team structure.
    • Own marketing brand identity for the company, creating exceptionally buzz-worthy appeal out of a mature brand narrative.
    • Define and operationalize strategy around enterprise marketing and B2B lead generation for upcoming enterprise versions of our currently consumer-focused apps.
    • Spearhead new initiatives outside of the existing marketing expertise of the company, including content marketing, web, enterprise, and brand UA, building out teams as those initiatives prove themselves out.
    • Lead the team in annual and quarterly planning, keeping track of budget, and reporting on marketing initiatives’ performance, with a focus on ROI & revenue growth.
    • Oversee and direct strategy across company marketing initiatives contributing to our growth goals—product growth and insights, demand generation and paid UA, PR, social media and content marketing, brand marketing, product marketing, B2B and sales support, and marketing operations.

Skills:

    • 10+ years experience in B2C and B2B marketing experience.
    • 8+ years of experience in a leadership role, building and managing a marketing team with superior ability to recruit, retain, and motivate our existing team and future talent.
    • Experience working at a start-up, specifically taking a company through a scaling and growth phase.
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to prioritize and efficiently and transparently communicate marketing goals and results at a team, executive, and company level.
    • In-depth understanding of marketing automation tools and related software, as well as knowledge of market trends.
