Our client, a company building one of the world's largest AI compute platforms, is looking for a Director of Supply Chain.For them supply chain is a competitive lever rather than a back office function. This role owns the full end to end supply chain across two major categories, data center MEP and IT infrastructure covering compute, storage and networking, plus the global logistics programme. It is hands on and high ownership: directly managing commodity and sourcing managers, procurement coordinators and onsite logistics coordinators while negotiating deals and driving supplier performance. Base salary is $200,000 to $300,000 plus equity.Role & Responsibilities:- Own end to end supply chain execution across MEP and IT infrastructure, driving cost, quality, lead time and availability against targets- Lead, develop and scale a team of commodity managers, sourcing managers and procurement and logistics coordinators across multiple sites and time zones- Drive sourcing and contracting strategy for hardware OEMs, component suppliers and MEP vendors including generators, UPS, switchgear, cooling and electrical- Manage contractor and contingent workforce supply chains, including master services agreements, rate cards and staffing partner performance- Build and enforce procurement policy, purchase order discipline and spend governance that scales with growth- Own global logistics performance and supplier escalations across a fast moving project portfolioSkills & Experience:- Senior supply chain leadership experience across direct materials, capital equipment or IT hardware categories- Proven sourcing and negotiation track record with OEMs, component suppliers and MEP vendors- Experience building and scaling procurement teams across multiple sites and time zones- Strong command of procurement policy, PO discipline and spend governance in a high growth environment- Global logistics experience, ideally supporting construction or data center deployment schedules- Hands on operator who stays in the detail rather than managing from a distance
