Our client, reimagining the future of business banking, is looking for a Product Engineer for core banking in San Francisco. Onsite.They are building an elevated financial operating system that combines the reliability of traditional banking with future proof capabilities including stablecoins, tailored financial software and agentic finance, serving internet entrepreneurs, traditional SMB owners and technology founders. Founded in 2021, they are one of the fastest growing fintechs in the world, powering over $10B in annual transactions, and have raised from leading venture investors. The team brings together leaders from well known fintechs alongside people who have built and exited their own businesses. Compensation is $175K to $250K plus equity.Role & Responsibilities:- Build and evolve the core banking product that everything else is built on- Build and scale core banking features that move tens of billions of dollars a year- Build fault tolerant, user facing financial primitives that span all customers- Blend infrastructure level thinking with deep product intuition- Work cross functionally with product, design and compliance to get the details right- Ship fast, cleanly and with real ownershipSkills & Experience:- Strong software engineering background with production ownership of user facing systems- Comfortable working at both infrastructure and product level- Care for correctness and fault tolerance in systems that move money- Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality- Strong collaboration with product, design and compliance stakeholders- Thrives in a high growth, in-person engineering culture
