Our client, a company building large scale compute infrastructure for AI, is looking for a Facility Operations Lead for datacenter operations. Locations include Buffalo, Houston, San Antonio, Abernathy and Barber Lake.This is the senior most onsite owner of power, cooling and critical infrastructure, holding escalations, risk and uptime across the facility. Compensation is $100K to $150K, and all roles come with equity.Role & Responsibilities:- Act as escalation point for all facility related incidents across power, cooling and building systems- Own change management for high risk maintenance- Coordinate incident response alongside engineering subject matter experts- Oversee colocation partners and maintenance quality- Support commissioning from L1 through L5 and drive ongoing reliability initiatives- Own capacity planning across power and coolingSkills & Experience:- Deep hands on experience with generators, UPS, chillers, cooling systems and electrical distribution- Strong understanding of redundancy models including 2N, N+1, N+2 and concurrent maintainability- Power and cooling capacity planning against TIA-942 and ASHRAE standards- Experience with data hall build outs and influence over commissioning- Nice to have: GPU datacenter exposure including H100, B200 or GB200 platforms- Nice to have: electrical or mechanical certifications and experience managing colocation providers and vendors
