Our client is on a mission to reduce food waste and increase access to nutritious food globally by transforming the fresh food supply chain. Their AI-powered solutions optimize the multi-trillion-dollar grocery industry's food ordering, production, and merchandising processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead their full-stack engineering team. This team building the API's and services to power our front-end experiences across mobile and web, as well as front-end web development itself
- Participate in key technical and design decisions as they push the capabilities and boundaries of their system
- Mentor your engineers technically and professionallyScale up their impact by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring high-caliber software engineers
- Contribute to company strategy and technical vision to increase their impact within their current deployments and broaden their impact in future applications
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of combined professional software engineering experience as an engineering manager or tech lead
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Advanced degree a plus but not required
- Proven management ability, including strong communication and prioritization skills
- High emotional intelligence with strong coaching and leadership skills to get the very best out of the team
- Demonstrated ability to tackle open-ended and ambiguous systems-level problems
- Strong product sense and business understanding to be a key partner to Product
