They continue to innovate in their development of advanced connectivity solutions, integrated financial services, and machine learning/AI initiatives.

Our client is looking for a seasoned engineering leader to lead all US-based engineering teams which includes their Cloud Services fintech platform, their latest personal finance offering (web/mobile), and two new product offerings (web/mobile). This is an exciting opportunity to lead an entire division of a reputable, innovative company!

Position Overview

In this role, you will have real-world impact and truly make a difference in people’s lives. As Head Of Engineering, you will report into the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for engineering deliverables, collaborating with key business, product, design, and marketing leaders of the company to ensure the development efforts are aligned with our corporate and product strategy. Their portfolio ranges from established market-leading offerings to futuristic products employing a vast array of technologies giving you the opportunity to lead across the full technology stack.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Own all of Engineering out of their Menlo Park office, including their flagship cloud platform, web and mobile clients, and marketing/commerce website.
• Lead a set of high performing teams driving engineering excellence with the appropriate process, technologies, and approaches required for the diverse set of products and services being built.
• Directly manage and mentor the engineering managers ensuring each becomes the best they can be.
• Steer important technology decisions taking into consideration strategic imperative.
• Deliver high-quality, high-performing products and services to our customers on a timely basis, and balance speed with quality.
• Manage engineering roadmaps that align with the business priorities defined by Product Management.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in the software industry with 10+ years in engineering management.
• Experienced in managing and mentoring engineering managers and architects (Either startup or Enterprise).
• Demonstrable past technical accomplishments that establish engineering credibility.
• Able to get the big technical picture as well as having the ability to dive into details.
• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Successful track record of leading multiple engineering teams working on diverse technologies (cloud, web, mobile).

Compensation

• $400k-$500k Total annual compensation (Base salary $300k+)
