Job Description

A fast growing company based in the Bay Area are seeking their first Head of Product to help set direction and drive major strategic and product initiatives. With a team of 80 my client are looking to rapidly expand in 2017.

The role:

  • This role will report to the CEO

  • Inspiring all levels of the organization with your product vision

  • Entrepreneurial and passionate – must have the ability to create a product strategy, and rally team members to execute successfully against it

  • Identifying new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, driving

  • Defining the product and customer experience with high-quality business requirements and user stories and manage scope of each product launch to deliver on time and on budget

  • Create end-to- end product management and service strategies that will result in differentiated offerings in the marketplace that allow customers organization to create and sustain value


  • Demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly consumer products
  • 10+ years of Strategy/Product Management experience in technology product space
  • Must be data and metrics driven with a “win together” mindset and track record of performance excellence, i.e. consistently delivering exceptional results, exceeding targets and objectives
  • 7+ years of leading teams of Product Managers and Designers
  • Proven track record managing complex projects
  • Excellent communication skills a must with the ability to pitch vision and strategy
  • Nimble with the ability to manage change in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to thrive under ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete data. Know how to solve  for speed, and right balance to strike between agility and perfection
  • Ability to drive team culture, including leading the charge, providing leadership feedback, and  managing aggressive schedules
  • Fluent in language of marketing as it relates to performance measurement, ROI and analysis
  • Preference for a complete 360 view of the marketing ecosystem: adtech or martech 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent business experience. MBA preferred
