Our client is building is a new cryptocurrency that focuses on both privacy and usability. We believe that privacy is essential for the success of crypto and their goal is to become a shielded platform for many assets, including those on different chains, and provide a platform for true digital cash.

The codebase is built using TypeScript and Rust, allowing JavaScript developers to easily contribute. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating user-friendly experiences and is committed to making crypto accessible to everyone.

As a member of their team, you will work with other engineers, our designer, and the community to improve the user experience. Possible projects you may work on include:

• Incentivized testnet
• Node dashboard
• Mining software front end
  

In addition to these projects, you will also be responsible for building, documenting, and maintaining tests, communicating and documenting architectural designs and requirements, and writing high-quality, well-tested code.

Qualifications:

• Experience writing production-level code in React and TypeScript
• Web and/or Electron application development experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development

Nice to Have:

• Experience with blockchains (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)
• A passion for privacy and privacy-preserving tools.
