Intelletec has partnered with an industry-leading financial services firm that is seeking a QA Tester to join their growing team in NYC. The client was established over 100 years ago, with more than 5000 employees across the globe, and almost $2 billion in revenue, they are one of New York's big success stories, one of the top 3 credit rating agencies in the world, that are making a conscious push to be #1.
In this role, you will leverage your experience testing UI/API/ETL and Data Validation. Ideally, you possess three major characteristics: Technical Skills, Effective Communication, and Professional Business Acumen.
Technical Requirements
- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- 4+ years of ETL Processes/ Data Warehouse Testing experience.
- Strong experience utilizing Python
- Experience in ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) and BI testing (Qlikview, Cognos etc.,). Proficient enough to Analyze Source Systems, Staging area, Fact and Dimension tables in Target D/W
- Hands-on experience with No-SQL DB, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience with Automated testing using Python Framework (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3)
- Experience working with Postman, SOAPUI, GraphQL, or similar API testing tools
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation of APIs, webservices and Microservices.
Requirements
- Develops and executes test plans/suites/cases for the complex financial platform.
- Strong experience with web application testing tools (prefer open-source software such as Selenium.)
- Document and determine the release readiness of products or features.
- Facilitate project problem-solving and troubleshooting of quality issues. Oversee defect management.
- Create and execute test suites, scripts and cases.
