Our client, a 100% employee owned engineering, environmental and construction firm, is looking for a Senior Cultural Resources Specialist to serve as a Principal Investigator. Locations include Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, with travel around 50%.The role leads and manages project studies, surveys, archaeological excavations and construction monitoring across a diverse project mix, overseeing the cultural resources side from concept to completion. It is integral to the growth of their Environmental Services practice and includes proposal development, contract negotiation and strategic project planning. Compensation is $95,000 to $150,000 depending on experience and location, plus eligibility for a discretionary year end incentive bonus.Role & Responsibilities:- Serve as Principal Investigator leading project studies, surveys, excavations and construction monitoring- Act as client coordinator for target clients, taking primary responsibility for delivery and client satisfaction- Identify project opportunities and sales strategies, facilitating go or no go decisions with office and practice leadership- Expand market reach by identifying new clients and project opportunities- Provide leadership for field efforts, technical reporting and preparation of high quality deliverables- Mentor and support junior staff, and manage scoping, budgeting, scheduling and project objectivesSkills & Experience:- Senior cultural resources experience with Principal Investigator credentials- Strong knowledge of Section 106, NEPA and relevant state regulatory frameworks- Proven client development capability alongside technical delivery- Experience leading field programmes, technical reporting and QC of deliverables- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and SharePoint- Willingness to travel around 50%, adaptability to changing work environments, valid driver's licence required
