Intelletec is partnering with a mission-driven fintech company to find a Senior Product Designer to join their team! They have built a platform that allows users to invest in top private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds with no minimums, enabling users to access new avenues for investments, they make it as easy as investing in Apple on the Robinhood app!
The Senior Product/UX Designer is responsible for leading the design and development of user-centered digital alternative investment products and services for the investment platform. This may include designing mobile and web-based applications, online portals, and other digital interfaces for both retail and institutional investors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand user needs, conduct user research, and create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from research to launch
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for digital products and services
- Ensure that designs are accessible and inclusive for all users
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to ensure that the products they design are of the highest quality
- Lead design critiques and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior designers in the team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product/UX design, with a portfolio demonstrating experience in fintech or financial services
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of web and mobile design best practices and guidelines
- Strong leadership skills, ability to lead and mentor a team of designers
- Ability to problem solve and iterate in a fast paced environment
