Our client, an AI native platform transforming asset management across acquisition, management and exit, is looking for a Senior or Staff Frontend Engineer in New York.They focus on healthcare facilities and multifamily real estate, built around three pillars: real time visibility into asset performance and deal progress, AI driven optimisation including risk scores, tax strategies and benchmarking, and orchestration that creates a single source of truth. This role owns the experience layer, building the interfaces where users interact with complex financial data, AI extracted entities, document viewers, dashboards and conversational search. Base salary is $225,000 to $350,000 plus equity.Role & Responsibilities:- Architect and scale frontend systems for data dense interfaces, dashboards, document viewers and AI powered workflows- Drive frontend performance across bundle size, rendering efficiency, state management and perceived speed- Build polished product experiences with attention to interaction design, animation, responsiveness and edge cases- Partner closely with design and product to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces- Own component architecture and shape interaction patterns across the platform- Define the standards and systems that keep the frontend fast, cohesive and maintainable as the company growsSkills & Experience:- Deep experience building polished, high performance product experiences and shaping frontend architecture in production- Strong frontend systems thinking across CSS layout, DOM performance, rendering behaviour and browser APIs- Careful handling of loading, error, empty and populated states, plus accessibility and keyboard navigation- AI fluent, using AI coding tools daily as a multiplier on top of strong fundamentals- Sets you apart: component library ownership, data visualisation with complex tables and charts, Tailwind, Radix or Shadcn- Sets you apart: real time or collaborative interfaces and early stage startup experience
