Senior UX Designer - San Francisco
Our client is looking for an experienced designer to research, wireframe, and get finalized designs ready for development. You’ll be working closely with a small team of designers, using your experience to mentor and help them grow and sharing best practice with the wider design group.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate across all aspects of the design process for our B2B products (research, ideation, design, and testing)
- Create and maintain polished and thoughtful deliverables and documentation
- Contribute to the overall growth and culture of the product design team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and advocate for design excellence
- Work with the VP Product and B2B Product Manager to create and align B2B projects with company goals
- Partner with the B2B Product Manager to prioritize, guide, and champion new features
Skills:
- 5+ years UI design, UX research & design, and prototyping experience, with at least 2 years working on B2B products
- Provide both design oversight and hands-on creation of highly crafted user experience and UI design deliverables, including wireframes, customer journeys, personas, concepts, and screen designs
- Mastery of design software including Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, and Sketch
- Experience working on B2B products, particularly analytics/data visualization tools
- Working experience with rapid prototyping (from white boarding and paper to using tools such as InVision, Adobe XD, Principle, or Framer)
- Ability to work iteratively in a highly agile, lean UX environment
- A passion for design and technology with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Expert of design principles (color theory, grid systems, layouts, and typography)
- Experienced in working and communicating with cross-functional teams, -- - Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Executive Team, etc. in a distributed team
- Prior experience in demand generation, A/B testing, or user research
