Our client, building an AI native consumer banking product, is hiring Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers. Locations are San Francisco or Palo Alto, five days in office.The product spans conversational AI interfaces, account aggregation, transaction intelligence, proactive notifications and dynamically generated UI across mobile and web. These are founding team tier seats working alongside senior engineers, PMs and both founders every day. Base salary is $225,000 at the software engineer level with founding team tier equity of 0.10% to 0.20%.Role & Responsibilities:- Ship consumer facing features across mobile and web, including conversational AI interfaces and transaction intelligence- Build integrations with core banking systems, data aggregation providers and LLM APIs- Own features end to end across architecture, implementation, testing, observability and iteration on real user data- At senior level, own a core system end to end such as multi model AI orchestration, financial data aggregation, computer use engine or agent platform runtime- At senior level, set technical direction for how the product scales to millions of users- Mentor and unblock mid level engineers, raising the bar by exampleSkills & Experience:- 3 to 6 years of production engineering for the software engineer level, 6+ years with 2+ years of senior ownership for the senior level- Strong generalist skills in modern web and mobile stacks, TypeScript, React and Node or similar- Senior level: depth in distributed systems, LLMs at scale, mobile architecture, real time data or browser automation and agent runtimes- Senior level: shipped a product used by 1M+ people- Extreme AI fluency, having rebuilt your engineering workflow around AI tools- Hunger and speed over credentials, with a bias to learn and tolerance for ambiguity
