Our client, a large national facilities and infrastructure services provider, is looking for a Field Service Technician with NETA or equivalent certification for a full time, direct hire role in Henderson, Nevada.The role covers safe and efficient installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers across an assigned territory. Pay is $40.00 per hour, with incentives that can include a sign on bonus and relocation or temporary housing assistance commensurate with experience, plus a take home company service vehicle, fuel card, local paid travel time and a comprehensive benefits package.Role & Responsibilities:- Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start up and collect data on electrical systems- Maintain, test, repair, rebuild and replace low, medium and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers- Test and inspect low, medium and high voltage cable installations, and maintain, test and repair transformers- Conduct low and medium voltage motor control centre and contactor testing, and troubleshoot automatic transfer switches- Start up, troubleshoot and repair generator controls and transfer schemes, and sample and interpret insulated fluids- Document test results, complete field reports, rotate emergency on call duty and support the sales process as technical expertSkills & Experience:- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical testing- Experience working as part of a team and on project based work- Familiar with NETA acceptance and maintenance testing standards- Familiar with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards- Ability to troubleshoot electrical performance deficiencies- Knowledgeable in lockout and tagout and hazardous energy control, and able to travel regionally around 50%
